A web oddity that I enjoyed (but hey, I'm a Democrat): Jenna Bush is this week's guest on Cooking with Bigfoot

Just finished watching "Pi", which I got from NetFlix. This was a seriously odd movie. Somewhat interesting as a series of images, but not really watchable in terms of plot, pacing, etc. NetFlix is letting Robin and I catch up on a lot of stuff we missed, especially classics like "Lawrence of Arabia" and "A Man for All Seasons."

Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition.

I just bought The Sims, and plan to get addicted to it.

I'm currently reading five books: "Bombay Time" by Thrity Umrigar, "The Dearly Departed" by Eleanor Lipman, "The Total Package" by Thomas Hine, "Iliad" by Homer, and a commentary on the Iliad. It's good to be unemployed in this respect: lots of time to read :).
