Fun Correction

From today's Boston Globe:

Because of a reporting error, a Page One story in some editions yesterday about the TV series "Curious George" misidentified Arthur, the main character of another PBS show. Arthur is an aardvark, not a mouse.

I'll have to report it to Regret the Error, the correction blog.

  • Craig from Regret The Error seems to usually scan the Globe For the record section on boston.com, but found that he seems to appreciate user contributions (at least he is very kind when I have sent them in.)

He's also pointed out Globe corrections and remarked that he couldn't find them online in times when the corrections are mistagged within Boston.com's CMS and don't wind up in the corrections section. Now that I won't have access to the internal content database, I won't be able to help him find those anymore.

  • Also, if you look at Arthur in the books, he becomes much less and less aardvark-ish as the series goes on. I guess he decided on the nose job that he was contemplating in Arthur's Nose after all.
